ABOUT ME

First, you may have noticed I love outerspace and anything ALIEN! I completed my post-baccalaureate Education licensure at Notre Dame College in 2005, obtaining a PK-3 licensure and a K-12 Reading endorsement. I also completed a 4th-9th licensure in Language Arts, as well as an Early Childhood Generalist endorsement for grades 4 and 5. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Technology through Ursuline College. I have two children, daughter Kayla, 15, and son Jakob, 12, attending Kenston.

I am a Learning Resource Teacher at Greenview Upper Elementary, South Euclid-Lyndhurst City Schools in South Euclid, Ohio, working in library media and technology. My goal is to draw out the creativity in children to inspire learning. I hope you'll visit my eportfolio.

Formerly, I was the Technology Coordinator for Lawrence School's Lower School in Broadview Heights, Ohio. My previous experience also includes that of K-6 Computer Teacher and Reading/Math Interventionist at Newbury Elementary, and Pre-K through 8th Computer Teacher for St. Louis School.

Prior to entering Education, my background includes owning my own children's coat and accessories internet business, Whimzzz (pictured above); software consultant/computer trainer through my husband's business, Innovative Technologies Group, as well as a former software trainer with Productivity Point International, training many large corporations' employees in Cleveland and Akron.

I have also attended several emerging technology seminars for educators and am very excited to bring these to my classroom! The sky's NOT the limit!
